Celebrating Timnit Gebru

This year, we’d like to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of Timnit Gebru, a computer scientist and artificial intelligence (AI) researcher who has made groundbreaking contributions to the field.

Timnit Gebru’s Contributions to AI 

Timnit Gebru was a research scientist at Google AI, where she leads the Ethical Artificial Intelligence (AI) team. She is also a co-founder of Black in AI, a grassroots organization that works to increase the presence of Black people in the field of AI.
